Alice Myer

Marketing Director

Alice's CAMP roots started early attending Pine Cove as a camper where God used "Liberty" (her counselor) to help her articulate her need for Christ.  CAMP has been a special place to Alice ever since!  In college she spent two summers working forKanakuk Kamps in Missouri.  So much of her young life was shaped with the powerful impact of CAMP!

Alice graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1985 with a marketing degree and quickly landed a job with a Dallas-based company, Foster Grant, peddling sunglasses.  She was blessed to join the company at the right time and was able to grow her responsibilities as the company grew into the largest importer/distributor of sunglasses sold in the mass market.  In 1992 she was promoted to Marketing Director managing three departments: product development, advertising and merchandising.

During this "career" time, Alice married her high school sweetheart, Keith, and they had three daughters.  By the time their youngest daughter arrived, she knew she was ready to give up the corporate world and concentrate on being a mom.  In 1996 she hung up her hat at Foster Grant and gladly moved to New Braunfels to join her husband on his new adventure with T Bar M Camps

Since joining T Bar M Camps in 1996 their three daughters have grown into what camp calls beautiful WOGs.  Their oldest daughter married a handsome MAC in a wonderful ceremony at Camp Travis where the two of them met.  Their middle daughter recently graduated from Belmont University with a Biology degree and is pursuing entrance into PA school.  Their youngest daughter is headed to Baylor University where she will play volleyball with the Sic'em Bears.

Today she enjoys balancing her role as mom, camp marketer, sports-fan enthusiast and supporting her husband which comes with the joy of investing in young college grads that join the Timothy Team program each year.  When she gets a chance, she loves playing tennis, a mean game of gnip-gnop or really anything that has the word "game" by it but doesn't require bending her knees.
